To coordinate the responsible and orderly exercise of academic freedom, in order to allow for the proper management and transfer of research results.

To coordinate interdisciplinary academic actions to strengthen the academic structures of Ph.D. programs within ITBA, as well as with the rest of the global science and technology system.

Promote actions for the internationalization of research and postgraduate studies, through the formation of scientific and technological networks of academic relevance.

To ensure the correct application of the Intellectual Property Policy within ITBA and to generate favorable conditions for the commercialization of own or shared intellectual property rights.
